In the direction to better concentrate on parameters like stability and system optimization of MIUI 9, we need to suspend this week’s update. This includes closed beta (releases every Tuesday) and public beta (releases every Friday). Weekly update for MIUI 9 global ROM will be resumed from next week, as usual, please stay tuned!

This announcement has mentioned nothing about MIUI 10. Another post mentioned the list of devices which are not compatible with the next update. Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3, MI Pad 2 are on that list. In addition to that, the announcement also mentioned 8.4.26 will be the last beta ROM on those handsets.
At present, Xiaomi is rolling out 9.5 Global stable ROM in India, which may be the last update in MIUI 9. So, MIUI 10 can be expected from Xiaomi in the coming months.
