Whatsapp beta swipe to reply

Messaging applications like Telegram, Whatsapp, Facebook messanger are very famous because they provide a lot of features than the standard SMS application. These applications are also free to use and users can easily send text as well as any kind of media. Whatsapp started to support document files in last year. This year it is getting a lot of improvements then other application.

There was a leak from WABetaInfo on twitter that points to the upcoming features of the Whatsapp like Dark Amoled theme and swipe to reply feature as seen on Telegram. As for now the beta version of Whatsapp for Android platform got the ability to reply to a specific chat with a swipe.

Recently, Whatsapp got inline image preview for the chats in the notifications of the Android Oreo and Android Pie. OLED friendly theme is being tested on IOS platform and it will be live soon as compared to Android. Fully black theme will improve the battery life on many devices which uses AMOLED panels for the screen because to display black color AMOLED turn off those pixels but LCD panels produce black color with the led inside the screen so the black theme is not going to help those devices but it will provide a new look and feel to the Whatsapp.

Whatsapp with the working swipe to reply

It can be seen from the image above that is being posted by the WABetaInfo on twitter how this new feature works. Previously, users have to long tap the message and click reply button on the top of the screen to send a direct reply to a particular message, now just swipe the message to the right and Whatsapp will automatically load it and let you reply. This feature will really help users to communicate faster and with ease.

The latest beta is available on the Playstore but if are not a beta tester then you can grab it from Apkmirror.
